History
Copeland’s is a local family owned franchise group that specializes in made from scratch New Orleans cuisine. Founded in 1983 by Al Copeland we pride ourselves in creating and executing the best southern and creole cuisine for our guests. All of our dishes are made with locally sourced and fresh ingredients. We honor our classic southern dishes and allow our menu to evolve with our guests to create new unique dishes. We have a strong commitment to quality, flavors, safety and our guests dining experience.
Copeland’s of Jacksonville opened in April 2001 and has since been a local favorite to many in the Jacksonville community. Currently being the only Copeland’s in the state of Florida and only New Orleans restaurant in the area many people travel miles to come enjoy the flavorful cuisine. Our menu ranges from fresh seafood and steaks to southern classic New Orleans dish and has something to please every palate.

In the Community
Al Copeland was a very iconic man in New Orleans and loved by many. When he created Copeland’s he wanted more than just a restaurant with great food, he wanted a place where people could call home. At Copeland’s we know that our guests are more than just that, they are family.
We have carried on Al’s legacy here in Jacksonville through our involvement and support in the community. We love to involve ourselves in different community events or fundraisers to help give back and stay connected. Jacksonville is known for its social events that bring not only the community but so many local businesses together. Some of our favorite events that we attend and look forward to each year are: Caring chefs, Brew at the Zoo, Golfing Tournaments, and the Starfish Foundation Fundraiser. We look forward to attending more events and continuing to have a positive impact on our community through our involvement.
